Civilization Types

Civilizations and Societies can be distinguished - among other things - according to Levels, Density Scale, Size, and Speed and Substrate.

In terms of Substrate the three most common categories (although numerous more minor ones can also be distinguished) are: mixed, hylonano-bionano, biotech-only, and virch-only. Each of these can in turn be divided into many subgrades and categories.
