Transapientech Cultures and Civilisations - Data Panel

Includes: Macroscale Nanotech, Picotech and Femtotech Societies and Civilisations, Nanoscale Nanotech, Picotech, and Femtotech Civilisations, and Picoscale Picotech and Femtotech, and some Femtoscale Femtoscale Civilisations

Primary Tech Level: Transapientech

Median Toposophic Level of Citizens: depending on the polity in question, may be anything from ordinary sophont So:1 to high transapient

Major Sophont Phyla and Metaphyla: again depending on the empire or polity in question, may be anything from baseline bionts and turingrade ai to posthumans and hyperturings to the representatives of the archailects emselves

Energy Requirements: Generally Very high

Material Requirements: Extremely high - requires the resources of entire star systems. However very efficient nanotech recycling increases resource efficiency tremendously,

Maintenance Requirements: Extremely intensive, requires a huge hyperturing-, archailect- and megastructure- based support base, both locally and extended across interstellar space through godtech wormholes

Chronometric Rate: varies according to clade, culture, and phyle - slow to hyperfast

Maximum Practical Kardashev Number: More than 2.0

Current Galactographic Distribution: Most prevalent in the Inner Sphere, but also found in worlds, polities, and habitats of the Hinterworld Regions, and to a lesser extent the Outer Volumes. Follows the Nexus and Godweb links and less developed in more isolated systems.

Power and Influence: Unparallelled by anything except integral godtech civilizations. Transapientech Civilizations can easily overwhelm, destabilise, or incorporate all other civilizations.

Some Characteristic Civilizations: As well as the big metaempires like the Sephirotics, the Diamond Network, Objectivists, and Panvirtuality, there are many smaller but still important civilizations in the intermediate regions and the near outer volumes, such as the Archosaurian Empire, Emple-dokcetics, Crystal Star Dominion, Far Edge, and many more

Further Comments: These are the civilizations established by the transapient and archailectual powers, and shape the large scale astropolitical landscape of the entire Terragen Sphere.

Only those few transapientech civilizations such as the Sephirotic empires that are friendly to the lowest toposophics and sapient beings are well known, but these alone represent the home of trillions of bionts, cyborgs, and vecs. A much larger number of transapient hyperfast solidstate civilizations are known to exist, but these are completely inscrutable to ordinary sapients.
