Baseline Human

The 2,174th Biannual Baseline Human Parade down Federation Plaza on the Metasoft World of Nuiearth (a baseline Reserve). All baselines march nude, to show their bodies free of from all augmentation and non-baseline genmodification. A number of Metasoft vecs march alongside in solidarity, while traffic wardens fly overhead

Baseline Human - Data Panel

Binomial Classification :
Homo sapiens sapiens (baseline human)

Definition: the original human genotype

Toposophic: ~G0.2 to G0.3; median toposophic G0.25 - Berram 10G Scale

Origin: evolved by natural selection from the African hominids - late Pleistocene

Current Distribution: found only in a few Metasoft Reserves, the Tar Vara (MPA), some of the Betae Arae (Utopia Sphere) habitats, and a few relict populations in the Inner Sphere

Est. Population: perhaps 20 million pure genomes all up; a larger number of lazurobaselines, retrobaselines, plebhu-baselines, and others of varying degrees of genomic variation.

Environmental Requirements: Earth-standard environments only

Body: Organic, although may use biomod or cybermod augmentations, baseline humanoid appearance

Further Comments: once common throughout SolSys and beyond, the baseline human is rarely found, being genetically supplanted by various nearbaseline species, usually through autoevolution of any baseline population that has access to genemods.

Lucas Jordan and the Lucjordanians - Clade/House of augmented baselines descended from Lucas Jordan, one of the original baseline humans of Nuiearth (Metasoft) that had been modified by Dimimimon4 and relocated to Rimmar (Metasoft) in the 3980s.

Tar Vara Baseline-friendly habitat in the MPA, hosts the largest population of baselines outside Metasoft space; however they often have plebhu modified genomes and so are not "true" baselines
