Mature, unusually hot and dry Arean type worlds.

Almost exclusively due to stellar proximity, these planets have lost most of their water, save for deep deposits or polar reserves, and surface conditions are marked by heavy sand storms and dangerous levels of solar radiation. Life is possible, but in very limited and primitive form, and typically only beneath the surface.
