Nanotech-based collapsible robot. Mini-bots are constructed from thousands of sheets of assembler constructed diamondoid. Controlled by nano-motors in a manner similar to the laminar flow of liquids they are able to achieve a number of predefined shapes, including a humanoid sized and capable configuration. When not in use the unit can collapse down to the approximate size, shape, and mass (approximately 5 grams) of a pen or similar writing instrument.

Mini-bots are less common in the Inner Sphere where angelnets are widely used. However, in the Middle Regions they are often ubiquitous in nanotech equipped polities. In such areas most sophonts have one or two minibots on or about their person at any given time.
