Biomachine

An umbrella term for any machine or device based on organic components rather than inorganic mechanisms. A Biomachine can be anything from engineered wetlands, which are used to reduce the organic wastes of a community, to a Bioship capable of interstellar travel.

A Biomachine may be of any sentience level; from subsentient, like the electromoss of the Arcadians, to transapient as long as it is designed to a purpose or dedicated to the performance of a task(s), like the slaved softbots of the Zoeific Biopolity.

Two common subtypes of Biomachines are Muschines and Biobots.
