It includes the physiology and biochemistry of the nervous system, the functioning of neurons and synapses, at both the microscopic and macroscopic levels. their relation with psychological experience, behaviour, and disorders. Other areas of study include natural and artificial neurobiological systems, neural networks, modelling brain functioning, artificial intelligence and low level ai patterned after the biont model, scanning and measuring neural activity, interaction of the central nervous system with cybernetic implants and augments, uploads, and creating neogenic intelligence.
