The First Millennial Foundation as part of their goals to increase the
living standards of humans on Earth and in space. It was an authentic
arcology because of it's dense structure and self sufficiency. Although
only a prototype, and never having more than 10,000 inhabitants, even
at its height, it served as the exemplar for other, more successful
designs until well into the Interplanetary age.
