Orion's Arm is...

Something that you can contribute to

Although the sheer scale of this setting might seem intimidating, and you might be thinking, gosh, how can I contribute ideas to the timeline, or write a story for this setting, if I am not a Ph. D. in astrophysics with an associate doctorate in computer science and Neural Networks?

Well, don't worry. You don't have to be a Ph. D. in anything to write good SF.

The most important thing is ideas. If your ideas are good, and they can be made to conform to the Orion's Arm Canon, that is all that matters. Don't worry about being too rigid in following the current time-line here either, as long as you retain a general consistency; after all, the whole scenario is vast and fluid enough to accommodate many stories and outcomes.
