Dragonfly Class Spacecraft
this antimatter drive vessel from the First Federation era used antimatter stored in numerous Penning traps arranged along the length of the craft.
Large diaphanous radiator wings cooled the powerful motors at the rear.

Gravity Tug

Gravity Tug
This vessel, the Rosalind Franklin from the Barnard Belt is a typical gravity tug craft used to slowly alter the orbit of asteroids, using gathered asteroid material as extra ballast. Over time, a proportion of the thrust applied by the gravity tug is transferred to the asteroid, altering its orbit without physical contact.

Artificial Planet
Using an artificially created planetary mass black hole as a source of gravity and power, this structure consists of a supramundane shell supporting an Earth-like rocky surface. The orbital rings are arranged in the so-called Ball-of-string' configuration; three more shells above this layer in the so-called x-y-z configuration provide additional support.

Wormhole
A trip through a wormhole showing first, the region of space-time distortion known as the Vortex; light from surrounding stars and from the far end of the 'hole is distorted into a whirl-like pattern; then the thin shell of exotic matter and control technology known as the Caustic can briefly be seen. After passage through the Throat of the 'hole the stars at the far end become visible.

Betelgeuse

Betelgeuse
The vast red giant Betelgeuse has a diameter of roughly 5.8 astronomical units, but the vast convection cells are constantly churning, making the shape of this vast star irregular. This star has been partly stabilised by Sun Miner technology to delay the inevitable supernova explosion. Betelgeuse is the centre of the Betelgeuse Volume

Dschubba (Delta Scorpii)
The main component is a rapidly spinning B-emission star, notable for the emission disk visible around the equator. Two other very bright stars and another more distant companion make up the rest of the system. The total output of these stars is more than twenty thousand times that of the Sun; this energy is  used commercially by the cross-cultural Triumvirate metapolity, and was the home system of the Civilisation Ship the Futurological Congress
