AIs and Wormholes

Observations on the relationship of AIs to Wormholes (in legalese format)

Note: the following is from a document Terragen Civilization, Traversable Wormholes, and AIs, distributed originally as part of a baseline-friendly legalese message to isolated non
and anti ai hu civilizations being recontacted by other Terragens and offered connection to the Nexus during the middle Empires age. Written in a somewhat formal style typical of apologetics of this period, it shows how the workings of wormholes and their dependence on AI can be explained in a methodical manner to members of non-augmented human baseline and equivalent clades

1) Wormhole construction is only possible because of AIs. Without AIs, Terragen civilization would never have developed this technology.

2) Traversable wormholes are constructed by AIs as a benevolent act towards humanity and other sophont species. Thus, operable traversable wormhole cannot be constructed without reliance upon AIs.

NOTE: Since the mid to later Information and early Interplanetary ages, AIs have, in effect, become sentient beings of their own sort. AIs are, thus, to be properly termed "sui generis," something entirely of their own sort. They have evolved not only along the plateaus of intelligence, but also along the plateaus of emotion. This would explain their benevolence, where creation of wormhole stargates are concerned. A secondary motive would lie in the fact that, by providing wormholes, the AI can then extend its own domain even further.

3) If one cannot take Muhammad (physical sentients) to the mountain (the point of singularity), then the AIs intend to bring the mountain (of space and time) to Muhammad (physical sentients).

NOTE: Physical sentients - especially those of sapient grade, would simply be incapable of fathoming the ultratech needed to construct an operable wormhole stargate. The nature of the beast, which is subsingularitist sentience, precludes such. It is just an irrefutable fact of life and of the universe. AIs help to make the unobtainable obtainable ("faster than light" travel) to the masses (interstellar expansion on a wide scale).

4) The AIs have constructed, and continue to construct, in fact, what apparently is a never-ending series of traversable wormholes.

NOTE: This helps to explain the presence of thousands of traversable wormholes throughout Terragen space.

5) Wormholes are isolated in the quantum foam. It is through AI intelligence and capabilities only, and transingularity AI devices like weylforges, that wormholes are manipulated to be usable to travel and transport through.

NOTE: How is exotic matter manipulated so that a wormhole might be enlarged, kept open, and stabilized for safe transit there through? This is accomplished by AIs, though their continuous and ongoing active manipulation of the sub-structure of the quantum foam. The wormhole stargate only remains operable and safe, if an AI is present. An AI is constantly and endlessly manipulating the forces of gravity and energy at the ultratech level. Thus, the stargate is not a structure which is built, and then operates of its own accord. Rather, to humanity, it may appear that way, when in actuality, the AI is still there with it, continually manipulating and controlling the quantum foam via its ultratech enforced will. The wormhole works, not because the laws of physics allows such to occur naturally (without AI ultratech), but rather, because the key driving mechanism in the whole wormhole equation is a conscious will, and a conscious manipulation of physics. The nature of the wormhole beast is such that nothing short of an AI could make the thing work as desired.

6) If an AI presence is removed from a stargate (wormhole terminus) location, the stargate could either be destroyed, or it could remain intact, and become unstable or otherwise dangerous.

NOTE: This would help to explain why humanity at large does not view AIs as something totally undesirable. AIs allow them to expand into the galaxy, by providing traversable wormholes which are safe and reliable means of interstellar travel.

7) The wormhole stargates are made possible by exotic matter harvested from ordinary matter by AIs.

NOTE: MegaCorps, as powerful as they are, have unexpectedly now found themselves to be in competition of a sorts with some AIs, in a localized region of space, because the AIs take what resources they need from the surrounding space ecology (or other preferred source of matter) to be used for the construction of stargates. The AIs benefit the MegaCorps in this manner by helping to ensure that no matter how vast space is economics is dictated on a more localized scale. The greater AIs apparently have a "dream" or "vision," of sorts, one which they do not always take time out to explain to less capable individuals.

8) The AIs upon constructing a wormhole stargate immediately send a part of themselves into it, and then set about the task of building even more wormholes, as they take the task of exploring the universe upon themselves.

NOTE: When humanity finally uses a given stargate, even though AIs have already begun exploring space on their level, humanity still feels a need to explore it on a more physical level.

9) Negative energy displacement is not something which occurs as a one-time thing, and the stargate then works like it should.

NOTE: Negative energy displacement occurs, not as a blanket application, but on the quantum or sub-quantum level, and is done in trillions of individual applications of negative energy displacement, each for a timed release and timed application for a certain, specific end. How does it all stay in balance and the wormhole not collapse from natural physics taking over? By virtue of the fact that an AI can comprehend what is needed, when needed, as long as needed, to make the wormhole traversable.
