Nootech, also called, among other things, theotech, potech, clarketech (even when it is understood), beyondtech, and transtech, is the most difficlt to understand of all the major branches of tech, at least as far as S<1 sentients are concerned. This concerns the fact that nootech deals with phenomena that often have no mundane equivalent. Even so, these mysterious devises are often necessary for the day to day running of civilization. But just as often, if not more often, they have no relevance to most sentient beings at all
