None of these civilizations can maintain these objects, and unless the devices have been specifically configured to be "baseline friendly", they cannot operate them. Transapient artifacts may also be discovered in deep space or poorly explored solar systems, left by higher toposophic civilizations Toposophic Requirements: Depends on the toposophic of the original builders, but usually SI:1 to SI:2, more rarely SI:3 (for the highest tech) Current Galactographic Distribution: Transapientech is ubiquitous throughout the Sephirotic polities and the Wormhole Nexus, as well as in the other high ai metaempires. Discarded transapient tech can be found almost anywhere in the Inner Sphere. It becomes less abundant the further out in the hinteregions and outer volumes, or the further from the sephirotic provincial capitals, one goes. Further Comments: Transapientech can only be understood (even dimly) through transapient assistance. Because of this, ordinary sapients, unlike transapients, have no control over this technology, although they still benefit from it. "Safe" transapientech is standard in all the developed worlds of the sephirotic empires. Even beyond those angelnetted systems it can still be widely found, acquired by the local sentients, or provided by friendly transapients. |
