If you're including some complex math in your forum posts, you can now use LaTeX math markup using these tags:

Code:

For example:

Code:
$$\large x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$$

is displayed as:

$\large x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$

If you're not already familiar with LaTeX, there is a great tutorial and handy sandbox tool here:

w00t! Being able to write $\LaTeX$ here is cool!

$\begin{equation}ds^{2}=e^{2\lambda}dt^{2}-e^{2\left(\nu-\lambda\right)}\left(dr^{2}+dz^{2}\right)-r^{2}e^{-2\lambda}d\phi^{2}\label{eq:weyl-vacuum-metric}\end{equation}$

Looks like it doesn't understand all tags, and everything has to be on the same line, but that's handy!

$$\nabla_\sigma,\nabla_\rho$V^\alpha=R^\alpha_{\beta\sigma\rho}V^\beta$

$\nabla_\mu V^{\nu}=\partial_\mu V^\nu+\Gamma^\nu_{\mu\lambda} V^\lambda=0$

Definitely workable. Thanks, Graham!
