I've been a fan of OA for 10-15 yrs(?) and I finally decided that it's time to contribute.  I'd like to take a crack at expanding some of sophonts entries that were created in the very beginning and need some love.  I'm looking at you, Bufos!
I'm a published independent author(mostly weird fiction) with a background in biology and pharmaceutical research.
I like cats, vegetable gardening, and most cheeses.
