Planetary temperature calculator - FireAndDice - 08-30-2014 Found this a couple days back. S'actually pretty useful. It's a fairly streamlined little thing for determining the average surface temperature of a planet, taking into account greenhouse gases. I know I find it helpful as hell, since I don't have to fiddle around with equations. Time and effort, etc. Sorry if this has been posted before. RE: Planetary temperature calculator - stevebowers - 08-30-2014 Nice! Another calculator that converts carbon dioxide partial pressure into greenhouse effect level (and that of other gases and vapours) would be nice. Earth has a low but not insignificant greenhouse effect level, while Venus' level is very high. Many worlds will be somewhere in between. |
