Lightweight radiation-proof material - Alphadon - 03-07-2018

So a while ago somebody asked if there wasn't some kind of light radiation-proof material in OA that could be used instead of heavy metals, and got the reply that we can't add that because it hasn't been discovered yet.

Still unknown if it stops gamma rays, though. So not terribly useful until we get results on that. On the other hand, it DOES provide the answer to how PQDAs survive beta radiation, and if it does stop gamma radiation, actually raises the possibility of making them entirely radiation-proof.
