Possible 'slideshow' image displays - Drashner1 - 09-19-2013

Just to throw this into the mix as a possible part of the site redesign..

Some websites (particular news sites) will display multiple images in a single image frame with a 'back' and 'forward' button or arrow or other icon that lets you page through them.

This might be something nice to have on the site since we could potentially include many images and interpretations of a given concept without being limited by the length of the EG itself.

Just a thought,

Todd

I like this idea. I think i've mentioned it for the homepage, but if it's not hard to do, slideshows elsewhere would be nice, though i'm not sure where in the EG there will be that many images per article.

This would be nice as a way to display images of planets in a planetary system; clicking through a slideshow would save space. I've got numerous images of minor worlds in planetary systems that aren't displayed on the site; they aren't essential, but they might as well be displayed somewhere.
