Yeah, a very large aerophant (or a very large human) would need some carefully designed interior plumbing. I'm sure it should be do-able, though, given transapient-level biotech. Maybe a body with lar...

An infrasonic communication capability would come in useful inside a large microgravity environment, no doubt. This would probably be supplemented by some kind of electronic communication system and ...

Note that Gamma Veloris is no longer a supernova in the current iteration of OA. It is not far enough along in its life-sequence to explode in the timeline as it currently stands.

As far as galactic drift is concerned, some stars do move very fast compared to the local standard of rest. For instance Arcturus has moved about 13 thousand light years in the last 33 million years, ...

The Tunnler network may have been destroyed due to conflict, rather than galactic drift. It may also have been an exploratory network, sent out by ?automated linelayers to explore the Orion Arm, then ...

Yes. This has happened several times before; the distances available in the literature when OA was first written are often different to the distances available nowadays. In the past I've simply altere...

On the other hand, I should note that not every colony and habitat uses angelnetting with 100% coverage. There are plenty of non-aligned worlds and so-called 'free zones' where modosophonts can act wi...
