Wonder if anyone else here follows this channel. Interesting animation style and often covers futurism topics. This video has a weirdly negative-sounding title, but is actually pretty optimistic and illustrates in a really cool way how immense future populations could be, especially if we colonize space.

That's a fairly cheery video. I like it.

Fascinating idea that humanity could carry on into the far future and distant locations. Of course it is part of OA's canon that the mind-children of humanity are far more diverse than just Homo sapiens; on the other hand, there is a small fraction of the Terragen population that are recognisably human, and these number many trillions.

Assuming that the Terragen civilisation continues into the distant future, there could still be a non-zero number of humans millions of years from now, and thanks to well-designed data archives a few examples may even be around billions, or trillions of years into the deep future.

Humanity need never die out, even if there are long periods of time when no actual humans are incarnate.
