There are, or have been, other entities named Orion's Arm, too. One ( an inconsequential space opera) existed in the early days of the project, and faded away without trace.
Another, unrelated Orion's Arm Future History can be found on Deviantart in the work of William Black, an excellent artist and enthusiast for realistic nuclear rockets.

I must admit I like William Black's work very much, although his use of Project Orion nuclear propulsion would require the mass production of nuclear weapons and might steer the course of history towards nuclear conflict. Black's science is so realistic it would fit in with OA seamlessly, perhaps as an alternate universe.
