Gravity towers on the Moon

One interesting thing about this design is that the radius decreases towards the bottom, in order to keep gravity normal to the inner surface; this also means the tower is somewhat funnel-shaped, because the centrifugal force decreases towards the narrow end as well.

The Japanese design shows this somewhat more clearly than my version, because the intrinsic gravity on the Moon is five times as great as on Ceres, so the shape is exaggerated.
