Singularity Levels

should be
the second singularity, which stands in the same relation to SI:1 as SI:1 does to ordinary sapient
(and -> as)

SI:4 - The Lesser Archai incomprehensible to subsingularity and even lower transapient sentients.

would be better as

SI:4 - The Lesser Archai incomprehensible to subsingularity and even to lower transapient sentients.

(I stumbled mentally, thinking "Wait, what? Transapients lower than subsingularity???")

Phobos

http://www.orionsarm.com/eg-article/4c99cf94829c4

-2nd par., informorphs should be infomorphs

-4th par., starts with "For During"

-243 BT in timeline: Demios should be Deimos

-AD dates need to be changed to CE, including the 1988 entry

-The Fobos-Grunt mission failed, should be removed

-The manned Mars mission in 57 AT contradicts the timeline as given elsewhere in the EG, should be 68 AT.

-652 AT, amat should not be in all caps

-Would Phobos really be able to visit other star systems in the time available?

Naturally evolved sophonts, such as humans, may advance through the stages of primtech over a span of hundreds of thousands of years or longer.

New systems which have been developed to address certain problems often fail to address older issues and difficulties, and are often vulnerable due to this weakness.

New weapons and vehicles, in particular, would have a brief period in which overspecialisation created unforeseen problems.

Lo Tek cultures differ from other Low Tech Societies in their more rational understanding of the universe, from Prims in their knowledge of more advanced technology, and from Ludds in their open and tolerant lifestyle. They deliberately choose some combination of reliable low maintenance technologies, which may individually be anything from Primtech up to to High Tech in level, to produce some overall society and culture that they believe to be ideal.

in fact, most live in large orbital biospheres constructed by kindly AIs.

Low Tech is, of course, a component of higher tech societies.

Because of its low maintenance and resource requirements and its simplicity and ease of manufacture, lotech remains popular not only among Ludd and Prim clades and polities, but with many individuals in more advanced societies.

Though powerful, these technologies have high energy and material requirements in proportion to their outputs, and can cause resource exhaustion and environmental degradation if the mechosystem is not carefully managed to capture and recycle its products and its abundant wastes.

Nevertheless, midtech level artifacts may be popular among modosophonts in higher tech societies who prefer items that have powerful effects but are easy to operate and repair.

Late in the century, the Second Industrial Revolution gripped the world as rapid advances were made in (mostly biologically-based) nanotechnology.

31 - infamous September 11 terrorist attack on New York Twin Towers and Pentagon changes the shape of the political climate for the next half-century.

These agents are sometimes capable of passing the Turing Test, but are nevertheless not fully self-aware.

50's - Cheap and widely available unmanned and remotely-piloted micro-aircraft (UAVs and RPVs, popularly known as drones), as well as hand-held web-connected camera phones, allow individuals quick and easy access to independent news channels and other media.

At the same time, AI science improves allowing for more sophisticated smartware.

62 - 'Orbital Internet' created to allow high bandwidth, high-reliability communication between and among the surface and orbital installations and craft. In particular, the Net allows greatly expanded use of telepresence systems in space.

The base is entirely designed to be operated by telepresence and has no accommodations for biont inhabitants or visitors.

The new material is comparatively simple to make but requires free-fall conditions to synthesize.

Ever make mistakes in life? Let's make them birds. Yeah, they're birds now.

The root of the eye.
Could someone add some dates or do something on that article?
For dates centuries or millenia are good too. Like for example in the 5000's . or: during the 6th millenium.

I've edited all these - thanks! I think that with a conversion drive, Phobos might bbe able to reach Proxima, so I've changed it to that. After such a journey the main bulk of Phobos would probably be missing, converted into conversion fuel and propellant.
