The premise is that you're journeying away from Earth and listening to the (predominantly Western) hit songs of the year on the radio, all the way back to 1906 CE. The info section explains that the stars are not to scale and that binary systems have been reduced to one star, and also that the radio signals would likely become infused with or reduced to background noise. It does show star/constellation names in little popups. It's still interesting to hear the music style change as one goes back in time. As you go further and further, the site adds audio distortions like static and crackling and sometimes slightly distorted sounds. Or maybe some of those effects are from me purging my laptop and taking up quite a lot of disk space....

"Win it, win it, win it..."
"Uptown funk gonna give it to ya!"
"Shut up and dance with--"
"I'm thinkin' about how people fall in love in mysterious ways..."
"Somebody that I used to know..."
"...so call me maybe?..."
"We could have had it all~"
"That tonight's gonna be a good night..."
"...boots with the fur..."
"I can see your dreams... ...I'm so in love with you..."
"And the stars spell out your name..."
"...It don't matter if you're black or white..."
"I don't mind not knowing what I'm headed for..."
"Like a virgin, touched for the very first time..."
"Tear up this town!"
"Oohhhh, the Candy Man can!..."
"Hey Jude, don't make it bad / Take a sad song and make it better"
"Knocked around all over, kinda grew up wild--"
"--Tea for Two"--
"[Insert static here]"
"I'll see you in my dreams..."
"all alone"
"And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air..."
"*slow, sad music*"
"[END OF BROADCAST]"
