Better late than never

I think you're over-loooking a basic preconception that built the A.I.'s known to baseline Humans in OA at 10,600A.T.

Most A.I. from 100 A.T. on-wards were specfically designed to work with Humanity and their descended clades.

There's several ways to ensure an A.I. is both Biont-Friendly, and friendly to the polity you operate into. The 2 most effective methods (in my opinion) are:

1) You program the A.I. code by code, line by line. Previous experiments give you some lee-way, but basically you are (as a society) determining what values and goal an A.I. has step-by-step. Excluding naive errors by inexperienced help, your A.I. will never hate you, never turn against you, and literally cannot comprehend a universe where you don't exist. This is a very basic intelligence that cannot auto-evolve in ways that harm you, but it is also very effort-intensive.

2) You build an adaptive intelligence by subjecting each "generation" to a series of auto-evolving virch environments. After 1000 subjective generations, you select the top 10 competitors, and force them to interact with virch-projections of existing people and situations. After 30 or more years of subjective "training" you have an A.I. that has proven itself to be benevolent, and you use that as a template to generate more A.I. personas. In other words, each 'vec you run into, has had 30+years of experience of enriching your life (as a modospohont) without having any long-term goals of subjugating you or over-throwing the rule of the local cyber-democracy.

Either way, you design an artificial intelligence that literally cannot act against you, as that would be akin to suicide. An A.I. would melt it's processing core before it beat your skull into pulp. You will never die due to an aggressive A.I. You might die if circumstances force an A.I. to combat a local occurrence (such as higher-S-Level perversity), but that would be very rare.

In other words, UNLESS YOU AREA COMPLETE IDIOT YOU WILL NEVER FIND AN A.I. ABLE TO COMBAT YOU OR RESTRICT YOUR ARTIFICIAL EVOLUTION.

The A.I. are not the Enemy. Peversities and Blights spawned by idiots and the lax-control over circumstances are to blame. Same as a derranged AR-15 owner killing 10 people in a movie theater. The Movie theater is not to blame, the 10 dead people are not to blame, the person who controlled the A.I. auto-evolution is to blame.
