Also, There doesn't seem to be any particular statement of the Nephilim height, which, i'm sure might actually vary more than two meters.
The only reason I drew them as 8 meters tall was the image steve bowers made. In the discussions when originally designing the nephilim, there was a comment of them being about giraffe height.

so there's that issue too.

Note that brachiosaurs seem to have reached a height of sixteen metres, so eight metres is a bit conservative. On the other hand brachiosaurs probably had very large heart and lun systems to oxygenate and pump their blood to that height; a Nephilim with a very tapered torso would not have as much chest capacity as a four-legged giant animal.
