Evolution of the human brain: when bigger is better
#26
I'm afraid I've sent us all well off-topic at this stage, because revised drafts are meant for the Encyclopedia Galactica section. Whoops.

Anyway, I apologise if I sounded like I was putting ai_vin under pressure to change everything he'd written. I love his Highbrow article and may have come across a little too strongly in my enthusiasm to expand it.

ai_vin, I'd like to add extra sections to your Highbrow article at some point, while keeping your existing concepts for the brain design the same. Would you might if I took this draft you have and submit it for review with my own additions as well as yours? Not right away, but it's something I'd love to have a shot at over the next while.

Mainly, I'd like to expand on their history with the Terran Federation, and also talk about how having such incredible intelligence would affect their psychology. I could easily imagine them thinking very differently to a normal human.

Your extra information on the brain's design is great by the way. The compubone using Highbrows could be a subclade of the main Highbrow species.
