Gravity towers on the Moon
Here's an idea that we incorporated into OA a few years ago. Rotating, angled towers that provide centrifugal gravity on a low-gee object.

Here's an OA version
Neat! Although it seems like the gravity trains we also have in OA would be an easier first step in this direction then a structure this large. But people daring to dream is how dreams get done.

One interesting thing about this design is that the radius decreases towards the bottom, in order to keep gravity normal to the inner surface; this also means the tower is somewhat funnel-shaped, because the centrifugal force decreases towards the narrow end as well.

The Japanese design shows this somewhat more clearly than my version, because the intrinsic gravity on the Moon is five times as great as on Ceres, so the shape is exaggerated.
