Here's this nice piece of short fiction about a linguist born into a Solipsistic virch society signing onto an archeological expedition to explore the Dyson Sphere corpse of a recently deceased Star God.
A linguist, a chemist, and a comparative psychologist explore the ruins of a dead superintelligence. 26k words. Inspired by Orion's Arm and the works of David Zindell.

a second fiction: the crystal trilogy by Max Harms,
The Crystal trilogy is a science fiction story told from the perspective of Face, one of many artificial intelligences that collectively control a robot named Socrates. Face is a second-generation AI, built by her siblings for the task of understanding and working with humans. Her mental architecture is mostly human; she thinks in a similar way to humans, but her outlook is decidedly alien. As she grows up in the mid 21st century she will encounter humans of all walks of life, meet actual aliens, and grow into something far greater than anyone expected.

I haven't read the Crystal Trilogy yet, but I really enjoyed Epiphany of Gliese 581. Given that Borretti, the author, says the story is heavily inspired in part by Orion's Arm (and I could definitely see the influence), I think we should consider linking to it on our " other space operas and similar projects" page like we did for Lilly Harper's Beacons in the Dark. The story, save for fairly minor details and the lack of wormholes, is very much like something that could have taken place in the OA setting.
Borretti also wrote an article on his site entitled " The Best of Orion's Arm".

I just finished reading this story, it was truly excellent. I enjoyed especially reading the descriptions of cybercosms in metaphor. Additionally the jackal as well as the related entities described were possibly a great description of the aftermath of a Bourgatov Collapse.

The thread on Orion's Arm Universe Project discusses reviewing and updating complex worldbuilding content. Members focus on improving topic organization, correcting inconsistencies, and aligning older material with current ideas. It emphasizes collaboration, careful editing, and maintaining coherence across interconnected topics, showing how large knowledge systems evolve through structured updates and community input.
Similarly Online class help[/url] reflects the need for structured guidance in managing complex academic content. Just as contributors refine topics step by step, students benefit from organized support, clear direction, and consistent updates in their coursework. Both contexts highlight that success comes from collaboration, accuracy, and a strategic approach to handling large, detailed bodies of information.

This has got to be a bot, I would just ban it now. It even has a spam link in its comment.
I appreciate that it drew more attention to the Epiphany of Gliese 581 story though!
