Andrew P recommended this book on the Biochemical Languages thread (which I'll get to sometime, don't worry) and so I started reading it. And I liked it! I like how it features intelligent alien plants that are genuinely alien, how it sometimes switches to narrating from their POV, how this story spans multiple generations and narrating characters, and how it engaged me deeply.

I also like how Semiosis mentions that the planet is much older than Earth. It's such a cool environmental detail!
