Hi everyone, I'm Darnokerok, but you can call me Darnok. I found the encyclopaedia galactica literally on Monday, and I'm already hooked! I joined the discord yesterday and was told it would be a good next step to join the forum.
OA is literally one of the best (and few I enjoy) HSF universes! It's so cool, and what makes it cooler is that it is a community effort!
I wanted to be part of it, even if only due to me being in the forum and discord.
This curious website I found after in a link of a memepost in the worldjerking subreddit just changed my interest in science and the sci-fi genre!

hello! I fell into OA the same way, though I'm not sure how I found out about the EG - I forgot 
what interests you about OA? personally, it's the vastness and I guess also the "quirkiness" of it.

It's nice that you enjoy the setting! And I agree in that I love the community aspect, it is the soul and beating heart of the project! I learned about OA from searching about Chlorine Planets, and it has changed my perspective on science, sci-fi, and life in general. Anyways, welcome to the forums, hope you enjoy your time here! ^.^

It's hard to tell, everything is VERY cool. If I have to choose, I would say the concept of Sophon and Apotheonics, and obviously the scale in which "Ascension" is measured.
I love how vibrant and varied the OAUP is!

me too! I have no idea what apotheonics are though - I need to look into that
