I learned about it from the world-building Reddit ,and I’ve heard Issac Arthur mention it a couple of times. I read one article and the rest was history!

Same Smile Except that I didn't hear about it from Issac Arthur but randomly came across it on the Internet. What interests you about OA, tho?

That's a good question. Probably the hard sci-fi setting, don't get me wrong I love science fantasy, but I generally prefer settings that're as scientifically, plausible as possible. My favorite part of OA would hands down be the Archailects. They remind me of my favorite sci-fi series, the Culture Series by Iain M Banks.

I haven't read the Culture Series yet! I have read Children of Time, though, which reminds me of some of the themes. You should totally go read it!
