Hello, friends!
I have been quietly lurking on the Orion’s Arm website for about a month now, randomly stumbling upon the site after doing some research on helium-stripped stars. I was quickly hooked, and quite frankly, astonished by the work the community had created.
Never have I ever seen a worldbuilding project at this scale, and never have I ever seen so many passionately creative folks working together so seamlessly. I found the cohesion of the content to be immensely impressive, but more than that, I found the collaboration behind Orion’s Arm to be immeasurably uplifting and downright inspiring.
Being a science/worldbuilding nerd can often feel quite alienating in my day-to-day life. I have been on an island for far too long! This project has given me hope that there are people out there like me and FLAGNABIT–I am ready to meet you.
In whatever way I can, I’d love to contribute and collaborate.
Here is a little bit about me:
By day, I am a successful marketing creative with skills in marketing strategy, video editing, and graphic design.
By night, I am an aspiring writer working on a hard sci-fi/fantasy worldbuilding effort of my own; Project Kasaar.
I have a curly mustache, my dog’s name is Elvis, and I once ate 33 pancakes in one sitting.
Excited for what’s next,
Pib
