Just popped in to say hi - I'm new here. I've been lurking and reading through the site for a while, and I finally decided to join because, honestly, this place is amazing.
I've fallen pretty deep into the Orion's Arm rabbit hole. There's just so much here that clicks with my brain - the VR stuff, the transhumanism/sleeving, all the wild biotech, the xenobiology, the hive minds... It's like someone dug through my imagination and put it all in one place, polished up and turned up to eleven. The sheer scale of it, the way everything connects - it's overwhelming in the best way.
I’m joining mostly because I want to understand the conversations behind the articles. The stuff that doesn't make it into the "official" pages but gets talked about here - the implications, the edge cases, the ideas that almost made it in. That kind of behind-the-scenes worldbuilding is what I'm really here for.
