Subsections in the EG?

Would it be feasible to make subsections/topics in the EG. (If they do exist then maybe more discoverability (?) ) As I never seen them. Imo, it seems like subsections would make alot more sense then the A B C ..., because its jumping from topic to topic that are completely unrelated. Something like the topics found in https://korionsarm.com/topics makes more sense imo. However, coding wise this is probably a big ask, so sorry.

Also if these topics do exist in the EG, then could anyone be kind enough to point me in the right direction   ? If they dont exist, its just a suggestion as ngl, its kinda hard to explore the EG (as I found out about the EG in 2024, but was confused until like late 2024), or maybe im just dumb    .

I think topics do exist? See the bottom of most articles, which includes a list of topics

Yeah, Topics do exist.
The Front Page has six main, top level topics;
Culture and Society
Galactography
History
Science
Sophonts
Technology
--
and each main topic has subtopics, listed at the bottom of their respective pages; for example Sophonts has
Archailects
Modosophonts
Presapients
Transapients
Xenosophonts

and these subtopics have sub-subtopics (also at the bottom of each page), for example Modosophonts has
Aioids and Sophtware
Baseline Human
Bionoid
Biotech Cyborg (Bioborg)
Homo Superior
Nanocyborg, Nanoborg
Near-Baseline Human
Neogen
Neumann
Parasapient A-life
Provolve
Rianth
Sapient Structures

(we may remove some of these sub-sub topics as redundant in due course).

A very small number of sub-sub-topics are further divided. Is that what you mean?

To add to what Steve has posted, the EG is organized by Topics (which contain sub-Topics, which may contain sub-sub-Topics, down to a total of four levels IIRC) and Articles. Articles are divided between major articles - which should contain at least three paragraphs - and minor articles, which are less than three paragraphs (usually much less) and are often referred to these days as 'stubs'.

You can find the different Related Articles at the bottom of any given Article page, followed by a box titled 'Appears in Topics' which tells you which Topics the article is linked to.

You can find all the Articles linked under a Topic followed by a box showing all the Related Topics.

All of the different Topics and major Articles except for the top six at the very beginning also have one to several 'breadcrumb trails' at the top of the page that show their location starting from one of the top six Topics or one of their sub-Topics.
