So... I have been a fan of Isaac Arthur for a long time.
And in that I started to generate a setting.  A highly possible setting in which almost anything can happen set in the nearest possible future.
Then I had a story and beefed it out a bit.
Showed the setting notes to ChatGPT and asked where about to post it.  And one of the options was here.
And now I am stopping and wondering if this is more akin to planting a sapling under the shade of a fully grown tree.
Both perplexing and vexing.

yes it's entirely possible that you're planting a sapling next to a fullt grown tree
but that's totally fine. and both can keep growing independently, or merge together... metephorically speaking
