I discovered OA through Steve Bowers’ 3D illustrations featured in this YouTube mix.

Since then, I’ve spent quite a lot of time reading articles about OA.
I’m interested in political economy, social sciences, history, technological development...

Peshay personally remastered the mix using his analogue soundboard, focusing on clarity and preserving the original energy and vibe. Peshay would like to thank everyone who sent messages and emails of support after the mix was taken down. Hearing how much it still means to people today is truly special.

The original video had a comment explaining the context of the art used in this video, all of them originate from Orion's Arm, a collaborative worldbuilding project documenting human history from now to 10000 years in the future. I forgot who wrote the original comment but I'm here to continue their legacy.

0:00 - A 'virtual garden', a term for virtual worlds that were created specifically for artistic purposes.

7:32 - 'Black Rot' (565 AT) infecting the Amazon Basin, with quadricopters spraying a blue antiagent to attempt containment.
15:05 - The Padang Harbour arcology in the aftermath of the Black Rot, 572 AT (AD 2540-2541). The arcology was once "a wonder of biological architecture", but the struggle to get rid of the Rot damaged all organic materials in the vicinity. Technocalypse.
