Polities

Polities are sovereign states, the building blocks of the political landscape whether locally or interstellar. Polities range greatly in size, nature, government, and economic, military, or memetic influence. The biggest polities are merged into or subsumed under the Sephirotics, and these are ruled by high toposophic Archailects; either by archetype-expressing nodes of single post-transapient ascended god, or directly by a slightly lower toposophic mind, or by a cluster of such gods. Other polities however are autonomous, and even when they are in the proximity of a god, or orientated around the worship of that god, they still retain their principles of independence. There are also locally independent but heavily archailect-supervised regions such as Caretaker worlds, where rule is by direct archaicracy and there is no sapient or postsapient supervision.

Siris Habitat - small mobile ultratech polity

The Shadow Federation - little known hider confederation

Shipwright's Commune - non-aligned space-based polity specialising in megascale engineering

Solar Organisation - small polity centered on SolSys, administers a number of nearby territories.

The Solipsist Panvirtuality - a network of huge isolationist anti-biont (and often anti-vec as well) low to high toposophic ai that evolved from the early diamond belt ai.

Spacefarer Union - interstellar civilization/metapolity consisting of thousands of space-borne mobile habitats, including a wide variety of ships, a number of drifts, orbitals, and stations
